WEM MX CLUB AFFILIATE TO BSMA

The long standing rider members of the Wem Motocross Club unanimously decided to decline the invitation to re-join the Amateur Motorcycle Association (AMCA) and instead affiliate to the BSMA and compliment the other Midlands based BSMA Clubs and in turn provide a Fixture List with over 50 events in the calendar year visiting some of the UK’s premier motocross tracks.

The BSMA cater for riders from just 6 years old up to a Vets race for the more ‘mature’ rider….

Youth MX Automatic class (50cc) 6 – 8 yrs

Youth MX Junior (65cc) 7-10 yrs

Youth MX Small Wheel 85cc 9 -12 yrs

Youth MX Inter open (BW85cc) 11-15 yrs

Youth MX Senior (125cc/144/250fcc) 14-17 yrs

Adult MX (125cc/144/250fcc) 16 yrs + (MX2)

Adult Open MX (no restriction on engine size) 16 yrs + (MX1)

Vets (35 yrs +)

Licence fee costs are £25 for Auto riders and £40 for the rest – saving £100 on the cost of an AMCA licence

Club membership begins Monday 30th January 2012 at our normal Club meeting location, which is The United Services Club (Wem), Leek Street, Wem, Shropshire. SY4 5EP. Meeting time starts at 8pm prompt.

BSMA Licence application forms will also be provided at the Club meetings.
